Arlington Democrats to Caucus on July 27th

Democrats in the town of Arlington are invited to attend and participate in an organizational Caucus, on Saturday, July 27th, at 11:00AM, to be held at the Arlington Community House, 3854 Route 7A in Arlington. The meeting will be in person, and online/virtual access will be available.

At the Caucus the Arlington Democrats will elect a new Town Committee, elect its officers, and also elect delegates and alternates toserve on the County Committee for the Bennington Democrats. Speaking at the Arlington Caucus will be Bennington 4 State Representative and House Assistant Majority Leader Kathleen James, who’s district represents Arlington, along with Manchester, Sunderland and Sandgate.

“Arlington Democrats are among the most committed in Bennington County, and I am delighted that an organizational effort is underway to form a Town Committee. This team will play a pivotal role in a number of competitive elections locally and across the county,” stated Bennington County Chair Jim Ramsey. Ramsey has been working with Caucus organizers Jessica and Sebastian Massey, as well as others to put together the Organizational Caucus.
